BERNANKE ON THE ECONOMY: Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke heads to Capitol Hill for day two of his semi-annual monetary policy report to Congress, this time in front of the House Finance Committee at 1000a ET on Wednesday. DRINKING THE ECONOMY AWAY: So-called "sin stocks" are supposed to hold up well during recessions. It's thought that Americans take solace in vice when times are tough. On the heels of InBev's massive acquisition of Anheuser-Busch earlier this week, Darren Rovell takes a look at how beer consumption and sales are faring in the current slow economy. TODAY'S ECON DATA/CPI/FED MINUTES: It's a big day of economic data, beyond the Fed Chairman's second day of testimony before Congress. At 830a ET, the government releases the latest consumer inflation numbers. Later on, we get new economic forecasts from the Fed as well as minutes of the last FOMC meeting. TECH EARNINGS: Jim Goldman follows Intel's Tuesday after-the-bell earnings release with sound from Intel CFO Stacy Smith.
