The recent Memorial tournament, without Tiger Woods, was down 31% in the ratings and the two times Woods won the U.S. Open (2000 and 2002) were the highest rated. | SAM ISRAEL VANISHING ACT: Did he or didn't he? Is it another in a long line of fakes and scams? Federal authorities have launched an international manhunt for Samuel Israel III, who appears to have faked a suicide jump off a bridge near the prison where he was to begin a 20-year sentence for orchestrating a $450 million ponzi scheme at his Bayou hedge fund in 2005. State Police have suspended the search for a body, after surveillance tape shows a vehicle pulling up alongside his SUV on the bridge. No body found, no witnesses. Mary Thomson follows the ongoing search.
