NEW HOME SALES: The Commerce Department releases New Home Sales data at 10a ET and Diana Olick parses the numbers. Existing home sales felt a surprise bump to the upside on Monday, will new home sales feel a lift as well?

ECON DATA / FEDSPEAK: Steve Liesman reports the data as durable goods numbers are released at 830a ET and monitors the headlines from Chicago Federal Reserve Bank President Charles Evans and Dallas Federal Reserve Bank President Richard Fisher's speeches in New York and Waco, TX.

SPACE RACE: As Nasa gets ready to retire a Mars Rover because of cutbacks, the private sector space race hits a new plateau Wednesday with the unveiling of Xcor's suborbital craft. Xcor isn't bankrolled by any billionaire but by a variety of smaller investors. Lynx is Xcor's newest spacecraft set to fly. It's expected to take off within two years with flights "several times a day" at "affordable rates". It even has the blessing of the U.S. Air Force. Jane Wells checks out the newest frontier in space tourism and predictions that it will turn into $500 million dollar industry.

TARGETED TV ADS: Politicians spend billions on regional political campaigns annually. Now SpotRunner is making it easier than ever to launch targeted TV Campaigns...on the cheap. On Wednesday the ad company will announce its new system and low prices. Candidates can customize a range of ads, ensuring that no one else in the cable zone will have the same look, and then place the ad in targeted areas based on census information and voting history. Julia Boorstin reports.
