RETAILERS ON THE REBOUND: While the big box retailers are expected to have fared well, virtually no department store was left unscathed by slowing clothing sales. Why? A combination of new macro economic pressures, rising prices, and existing energy and housing headwinds ate into consumer budgets. It was the coldest March in 15 years, plus an early Easter/spring break which means that apparel retailers didn't sell much during the month. Margaret Brennan explains why stocks have priced this in but will trade off the April forecasts.
