Financial distress versus global growth - King Kong versus Godzilla - that the story in the market as investors try put the credit crisis in the context of the global and U.S. growth story. This week - it appears King Kong won - knocking billions in market cap off stocks like Merrill Lynch and financial guarantor Ambac. Corporate boards will take what they deem the "appropriate" steps - sacrificing their CEOs in the hopes that cutting off the head will save the body. But has the subprime disease spread too far? The Fast Money will be watching, and we will also be watching a slew of earnings reports next week, key among them, Cisco.

We've seen junior hyper-growth tech names like RIMM, Apple, and the king of growth, Google blow past their older tech brethren. It is time for senior tech names to catch up? Also on the docket: lights, camera, earnings. A virtual all-star ensemble of media names will report next week. Time Warner, Disney, News Corp.

As always, an open market is one in which you can make money, and we will try to that all next week. I hope you join us.

-Dylan
